The Brand New TWIN over TWIN Mission Bunk Bed, now available in Espresso! The new finish and design has a lot of detail that is not found in some of the other mission style beds. Look at the top bed side rails they all have the mission style vertical slats making the bed not only better looking but also increases the mattresses thickness for the upper bunk. This bed boasts the capability to handle a 10 inch thick mattress on the Top Bed area, as well as, The Lower Bunk Bed and Trundle Bed can also handle up to a 10 thick mattress.  

We get this DARK almost charcoal black finish by taking time to use a full 4 step finishing process, sanding, espresso staining, sanding, and smooth lacquering. The end result is a smooth shiny finish, that can be cleaned and wiped down to remove handprints and small blemishes. Please note that natural solid pine beds like this one will display imperfections, knots and veining more so than other finishes just like a black card does. That being said this is a very sturdy and handsome bunk bed.  

The mission bunk bed is also down stackable, so in the future when you no longer want to use this in a bunk bed capacity you can break it down into 2 twin beds. The ladder is located at the foot of the bed so there is nothing to move if you want to get into the 3 under bed drawers or if you want to pull out the twin trundle (These are the 2 options that you have to chose before making your purchase) or you can choose to have an empty space under the bed with no configuration.
