The Latest Espresso Design in now available with a staircase. Teens and Adults will love the NEW Stair stepper bunk bed in Espresso. This TWIN over FULL Staircase Bunk Bed can handle up to a 8 inch mattress on the TOP Bunk and an 8″ mattress in the Trundle Bed. This bed has the same detailed vertical slats all around the top bunk and the top of the staircase. The espresso also has a slightly thicker gauged of wood so it will be a great bed for kids, teens, and adults * with metal center support – recommended when being used by larger teens and adults or commercial applications.
This bed has the capability to handle a 8 inch thick mattresses on the top bunk and up to an 8″ mattress in the trundle when used on hardwood floors. There is also a fully assembled staircase unit with 4 drawers and a magazine rack that is reversible * by you after purchase see step #15 in assembly instructions for direction to change set up orientation. The drawers are approximately 18 x 15, as are the 3 drawers under the bed should you select that option instead of the trundle bed, or you can select no configuration for an empty space below the bed. But they do have the 4 step finishing process, sanding, espresso staining, sanding, and smooth lacquering. The end result is a smooth shiny finish, that is cleanable simply wipe down with a damp cloth or wood cleaner to remove handprints and small blemishes. These are beds are made of natural solid pine but like a Black car the Espresso beds can display small imperfections, knots and veining more so than other finishes and that is the beauty of a natural product.
These are very sturdy bunk beds and will last your family for many many years. If you have jumpy kids or larger teens or adults that will be using the bed then we recommend purchasing the metal center support slats. The metal center support helps to spread the weight out across multiple slats with the intent to keep an individual slat from failing when pressure is focused on a small area, more so than increasing the beds weight limit. We do sell these to colleges and mens and women’s shelters so ask about bulk quotes!

Beds are Mattress Ready – With some bunk bed manufacturers, you will need to buy a slat kit as an extra add on. Not with Discovery World. Discovery World Bunk Beds come with the slat kits for all sleeping areas (top bunk, bottom bunk, trundle) so that you are ready to go as soon as the bed is assembled.
Configuration Options
3 Drawers – The three-drawer option is the most common choice. These drawers slide underneath the bed after assembly. They match perfectly with the rest of the bed and provide a great place to store clothes. Inside drawer dimensions are 15 3/4″ x 21 3/8″ x 4″
6 Drawers – Will you have access to both sides of the bed? If so, you can get three storage drawers on each side, giving you ample storage space. If either side of the bed will be up against the wall, please do not purchase the six-drawer option.
2 Big Drawers – The two-drawer option is for people who prefer to have two big drawers compared to three medium sized drawers. The bigger drawers are perfect for people with a lot of clothes and/or pillows to store.
Twin Trundle Unit – Are you kids planning on having their friends over for sleepovers? A twin trundle is the perfect way to get an extra bed in the house without breaking the bank. The twin trundle fits a nice twin sized mattress. When closed, the twin trundle matches the rest of the bed and looks like a set of drawers.
Shipping & Delivery Information
Discovery World Bunk Beds ship out quickly. It typically takes only a day or two for your order to ship. Once your order ships you will receive tracking details that will show you when your new bed is due to arrive.
The transit time of the bunk bed is dependent on where you are located. However, with warehouses throughout the country, transit is quick.
Due to the size of the bunk bed, they must ship via LTL Freight and on a pallet. The pallet protects the bunk bed from damage during shipping. Once the shipment arrives at the destination terminal, the shipping company will call you to schedule a delivery date and time that works best for you. You can always push them back a couple of days if needed.
Warranty Information
Discovery World Bunk Beds come with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty. During the first full year Discovery World will replace any damaged pieces to the bunk bed free of charge.
After the first year, Discovery World will still discount any replacement pieces by 50% of the current retail price. This is a lifetime offer!
The warranty only remains active when the bed is at the original shipping address. If the bed is moved to a new location or sold in a secondary market, the warranty is void.
